Ok....I have an 05 sunfire......I'm so confused at to what I can and can't put on it. What about warranty? Also what generation is my car? What year model products will fit on my car......does it start will 03 parts? Thanks for any help you can offer.
You can put a lot of things on it, it depend on what you plan to do, about the warranty, you can ask where you bought it or do like me and don't wonder about it
It's the third gen, most 2002 and up should fit (someone else probably know better than me since I only buy part for ecotec)
Thank you.......I just got an email about coilovers that I was gonna buy.....they were for 95-04 and they said they wouldn't fit my car any idea why that is? I don't want to buy things that aren't going to fit on my car.
They only said that because:
- You have an 05, and they saw 95-04 so they just assumed it wouldnt fit. All 1995-2005 J's have the same suspension except for minor changes here and there.
- All 2000+ J bodies need to get the top strut mounts from a 95-99 for the front because they are different
Bottom line is yes the coilovers will go on fine. Just get the strut mounts (plates) off a 95-99.
It is the same for all coilover setups available (that I am aware of).
