Hey guys, this is prob. a stupid question, but i keep hearing about people having probs. starting thier car so they pop the clutch. So i ask you,....How do you "pop" the clutch? I would really like to know just in case i get stranded some where. I was also wondering if its hard on the car in any way.
((I don't have a lead-foot, But i wear steel-toes.))
that means get the car rolling "pop" ( let off) the clutch and turn your ignition
Just turn the ignition to "on", get the car rolling (has to be about 15 mph to work), and let the clutch out really fast. Yes, that is terribly hard on your clutch in particular, but it can get you going in an emergency.
I may not be the sharpest crayon in the box, but at least I'm a pretty color
better than hunting down jumper cables sometimes..
