my car will start but wont run for more than 10 seconds its like it runs out of gas and it puts.. so i had someone look at it they said it was the distributer they said to clean of the plugs cause they were corroided and buy new wires.. i did this and my car still does the same @!#$ as before. has anyone ever had a problem like this if so could you tell me what it was

As for the problem: If you've fixed the spark, the next thing to check is the fuel. I had a similar problem with a Ford Focus a few years back and it turned out that in the manufacturing process some metal shavings got left in the fuel tank. What would happen is that when the car sat sans engine running, the debris would settle to the bottom of the tank, but once fired it would begin to slowly draw all that crap up to the outlet hose and after about 10 minutes it would be enough to choke off the fuel supply completely. Is it possible that a "friend" of yours dumped sand or something in your gas tank? I know, worst case scenario here, but it's what happened to me. Good luck man.

Well Will Find Out Cause I Took It To One Of My Parents Friends Shop

It Was My Computer It Went Bad. They Had A Recall On My Car And the Dealership never took car of it. asses and i had to pay 322 dollars. gah
