for awhile my radio which is factory has been acting up..The screen display is completely dead even if I tap it a couple times....And I took my car to the dealer to ask about the screen I was told that its a LCD meaning its lights crystals not a light bulb, so it is unfixable. And I'm thinking there MUST be someway to fix this problem because right now I can't afford a cd deck untill come late Winter time.

Even if there was a way to fix it, it's not worth spending the money on doing. Your going to have to put up with it and save up for a new one...keep your eye on the classifieds for a stock radio.
