Can I "easily" convert a Cavalier 2003-2005 front end for a 1995-1999 one?

I need :

a hood
all the lights
a bumper

Anything else??

Do I have to modify the retaining clips or whatever keep's the bumper in place?

Thank you

Mathieu

you also need to wire in the bulbs. i think they are different wiring for those on the 03-05 from the 99s

I don't think I'll need a fender... They look pretty identical. The real difference is in the front grill...

you'll need the brackets that on the 95-99 fenders taht hold the corner lenses in. thats why the other person said you need the fenders too.

Do you think a scrap yard will have those brackets?

It will cost me a @!#$ load of money to convert a 2003 front end for a 95-99 one... LOL

The fenders are all pretty much the same no matter what year 3rd gen cavalier that you have. In 95-99 there is a smaller corner lense than in 00 nand 02, so that means that there are certian parts on that year fender to hold in that smaller corner lense. When you do a conversion from say a 95-99 cavalier to a 00-02 cavalier, you can still use your 95-99 fenders but they will need to be cut and modified a little. But since you are going from a 03-05 to a 95-99 your current fenders do not have the brackets to hold in that smaller corner lense. So if you buy 95-99 fenders, they will bolt right up , and the brackets will already be part of the fender. They come on the fender, they are not seperate peices that you have to buy. Once you have all the peices for your converison, everything will bolt right up, just have to make sure the body lines are lined up.
