help... my car has been in sub zero weather all night long so i know there is no way the temp can be 300+. but the temp gauge is way past the lines for that gauge and in the way of my speedo. would reseting the computer help fix this, if so how do i reset it?
if you need to reset the computer, just disconnect the battery for 30 minutes

ECT Sensor? Sounds to me like the gauge is getting excess voltage to one coil side therefore pulling the gauge all the way over.
