I got spanked by a Toyota celica of some kind!!! I have a 2000 z-24 w/ and iceman intake and weaponR exhaust but what can I do for more bite at the line???????????
Hmm off the line? Go motor mounts, their worth their weight on gold, trust me! cheap, easy, and the only bolt on I ever noticed a difference with. So long as you dont mind the rattles...
What kind of rattles and r u talkin' about the Urethane ones?

I think you mean polyurethane
You might experience vibrations of your dashboard from putting these on but only at a rough idle basically. What the mounts do is keep your motor completely still, not moving it at all. Before this, it would move around the engine bay giving your a slight loss of response from it moving it around. Because it's still now, the energy of it moving around the bay has to go somewhere...so it's goes to your chassis. Since your chassis is being sent more vibrations, it's making your whole car shake a bit more but most people see it more in their dash and feel it as well. That's the rattles he's talking about.
As far as more power "off the line", you should focus on your whole powerband more so than just one part of it. When it comes to performance, it's best to have a strong and wide powerband than a narrow and powerful powerband. Basically, there is no certain type to say give you power off the line or in high end specifically. Every modification either benefits, hurts or changes your powerband.
Overall, focus on having power all together and not just in 1 certain area.
Also, you say "weapon-r exhaust"...I wasn't under the impression they make a full cat-back setup for J-bodies, do you mean just their muffler or just their header or both?

Damn, you are smart. Just the header and muff. I had the connecting pipes made from 2 3/4" cold rolled with reducers. Its pretty loud and hurls that exhaust out with a quickness!!!! I want to do some that no-one around here has sene. Like I mention in my profile, I plan to instead of getting a body kit I will use the current z-24 platform with white powder-coated z-24 rims and white front and rear bump w/ skirts painted evenly around the car to match the bump lines. Where the red and white meet, I will put silver or black pin strip. Before I paint it though, I want to make some unique vents out of fiberglass resin and molds and then put some mesh w/ the scoops and, voila......your own s**t that no-one else can buy!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY HONDA HUNTING <I=)<
^^^well if unique is what you are going for then thats exactly what that will be I will give you that much.........as for power, let me see if i understand, you have exhaust pipe that was made and it is 2 and 3/4"???? if so that is huge way to big for your car, i hope i read that wrong......
also was this celica stick, yours being auto therefor his car would be quicker off the line right there....look into maybe this
AutoTrans Interceptor Shift Improver
but like NJHK (King Of Newbies) said, just look for a variety of mods to improve you poer through out the power band.....not just off the line
I have one true love in my life...And my girlfriend sits next to me in it
So you raced a mild performance orianted car with an Econo box? Hmmmm. Considering the celics is usually lighter, it has a good advantage.
Try a lighted crank pulley, Full Highflow 2.25" exhaust system, Motor mounts, Tune ups, etc.

^^^ for got too mention.....I have raced a GTS celica which is 180hp and 127ft. lbs and I won, with almost the same mods, CAI and full exhaust but I am a 5spd Ecotec.....thats why I am thinking the auto may be wahts hurting you in this case.

I know my 2 1/2 didn't do anything to my 60' times but 2 3/4 ? Damn! thats big! And without boost its a waste. Drop it down to no more then 2 1/2. That much is over kill.
Oh, and just make sure your raceing at the track.
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
try nitrous
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!

nterior:
I have a "full" system in it along with front and rear custom fit Neoprene seat covers
red carbon fiber dash trim kit
red neon lights
and red split with tan paint around perimeter of interior.
Exterior:
Custom silver paint around the base of the cav but soon to be white front and rear bumpers plus side skirts. I am also going to paint the Z-24 rims white to match. Instead of dumping a knot into a body kit
I will purchase various vents and things for the stock bumpers and skirts as well as shave the emblems.

I have a "full" system!
So im guessing this FULL SYSTEM has added around, what 150 to 200 pounds? That will slow you down too.
