Newbie sunfire owner looking for help

first of all, I'm steve and i'm obviously new here. Just bought my 05 last July brand new(73 miles on it at the time) and have really liked it so far. Brought it from Colorado to Minnesota and now I'm looking to set it apart from the rest, just not sure how or what all there is to do. A friend of mine repainted his interior so I may do that, saw the post for it already. What else is there to do though to make it NICE!! Can't do much besides body @!#$ cuz of the warranties that will be up in about 20,000 miles though. Looking to do vertical doors, body kit, window tint, audio system upgrade w/ DVD deck, repaint the interior and then the lights. Good ideas or not so good? I would appreciate anything since I haven't seen a whole lot for my new toy when I've been buzzin around the net.

Those seem like great additions you got planned for your fire, but I mean it's really up to you if you wanna be different just go with your own ideas on what mods you'll be going with, etc. I mean most common mods people do, is an aftermarket WAI or CAI (Warm air intake, which is the Short-Ram and the Cold air intake.) or an aftermarket exhaust system, like a cat-back or whatever catches your attention, and the money you plan on spending pretty much evaluates the potential you can do to modding your fire. Never go with cheap stuff off Ebay because most of it may be junk. Go for quality, if you wanna do it right. This place is definitely the place to go to ask questions if you need any further help on maybe engine swaps to interior painting, and some good Mods for your fire. But the V-doors, the tinting and body kit will deff make it hott. Ofcourse if you ain't got some smooth rims on there, I'd add those too and slam the mofo to the ground Lol.

About your warranty...

They can't void your warranty just because you have an intake on your car. If you have a blown piston and all you have is an intake on your car and they try and blame the intake for blowing your piston, they have to prove it.

Now say if you put new cams in your motor, unless they don't notice it and can't tell, than your warranty for your motor is voided.

That's basically how your warranty is broken down to.

As far as looks goes, it depends on how wild you want to get with looks. You could do pretty much anything you want...hood upgrade, air ride (looks good slammed), spoiler, BIG rims etc etc the list goes on.

Warranties are only voided if you replaced that part, or one that directly effects it.
As stated, a CAI or the like doesn't void anything but the warranty on the intake.
Same goes for everything else.

yea they will try and tell you its voided and most people buy it but they have to prove that the part actually caused the failure

most people start with an intake and go from there
i started with suspension. Koni Reds, Eibach Sporlines, and freedom design strut tower bars.

I think I have a good idea of where I will start since I'm coming into a little bit of money at the end of the month. I was going to pay off some bills but I'm still up in the air. I would like to know of any reputable sites I can go to to find the V-door stuff, hot body kits and some not too expensive rims. Want it to look nice but then again I don't want to get jacked. Also, some recommendations on security systems/remote starters.
