Hello everyone, I just got my self a 95 chevy cavalier with the 2.2, with only 90k miles. she blew the head gasket because the last owner only put in straight coolant, she also smoked all the exhaust valves. So 200 bucks later i got it put back to gether except for the idler pulley. not the whole tensioner its self, i need to know the torque specs on the center bolt through the wheel. Thanks.

sorry but straight coolant won't blow the head gasket.

200$ and it's back up? it cost more than that for the head set, head bolts and shaving the head. On top of that you say she toast the exhaust valves only? I'd like to know how your head gasket can toast the exhaust valves.

Something doesn't work in what you say.

Yep I'm calling on this unless was just told very wrong, or maybe it was just the valve cover leaking and you replaced that for $200 which would be one heck of a price to do that

But since this is your first post Welcome to the board and hopefully you get the answers you need to make it run better and know when someone is telling you something that isn't right to save you alot of time and money that could be used on other parts that can and will break.
