its on the passenger side, but from looking over the top and on the side i couldnt see where it was coming from, i dont have a jack or i'd be underneath the car looking so can you guys tell me where the leak might be coming from? its leaking pretty bad
any ideas?

id get a jack an check under it. i once had a major leak turned out to be cracked coolant box im no tpretendin i know everythin tho id check yer hoses,radiator, alla that but it could be alot of things
yeah i'm at my house now and i dont have a jack handy, but i have to drive the car tomorrow and was trying to give it a quick fix tonight cause it's below half in my tank and was dripping pretty damn good.

if it water pump not sure what the location is on a 2.2 but this is one big time you can be happy you dont have a 2.4

its your water pump. on the 2.2s is on the left side of the motor right behind the passenger side tire. when the pump goes bad its designed to let coolant leak out of the weep hole which is whats happening in your case. since you have a 2.2 its fairly easy to change. takes about an hour to do. all i did was remove the passenger side tire and wheel liner and everything is right there. loosen then tensoner pulley and take the belt off the pump, then its just 3 bolts and its out. make sure to pick up gasket sealer too.

i wouldnt recomend it....but i guess thats your call, if the thought of overheating and possably ruining your motor dosnt worry you then go for it

yeah and it's super cause my coolant temp gauge is out too so i dont even know how hot i'm running.
