I got the pacesetter 4-1 header from a junkyard today and was wondering where i could find a gasket for it, would i be able to use a O.E. header or do i have to get an aftermarket one?
How hard are they to put on?
what do i do with the sensor thats on my stock manifold? theres no hole for it on the new one.
should i run 2.25 pipe back? what type of exhaust should i go with? i got in an argument with a friend tonight about with the 2.25 i'll lose backpressure
all help is appreciated. thanks in advance

2.25 is fine unless if you plan on boosting your car, then 2.50 would be fine. As for you missing sensor hole, I would just get creative and make one.
no boosting for me, and what do you mean by make a hole, in the header? or in the pipe?
any help with the gasket question?

you can use a stock header gasket. 2.25" exhaust is your best bet. as for the 02 sensor, you're gonna have to drill a hole somewhere in the downpipe and weld in a bung that you can screw your 02 sensor in to.
as for the install, its not very hard at all. just remove your serp. belt, remove alternator, you might have to remove the oil fill tube, remove stock exhaust manifold...installation is easy at that point, install header, install alternator, put belt back on, enjoy gains from new header
i aplologize in advance if i have left out any important steps, right now its 7am and i have a tax final at 8am and i should be studying right now, oh well
thanks andy,
if i use that stock gasket is it going to restrict air flow?

it shouldn't restrict air flow. from what i've read, people prefer to use stock gaskets compared to the ones that come with the pacesetter headers. supposedly the pacesetter gaskets leak over time, so people just reuse their stock gasket or spend $12 on a new one.
Actually the Pacesetter gasket is cardboard. So yes it sucks.

No... the PaceSetter gasket and the OEM gasket have the same diameter outlet holes.
