WELL WHAT SHOULD I DO ??????

well my car is in the shop, see what happened was i blew my head gasket and cracked my head so i'm getting a new head and gasket...but i was wondering, is there anything else i should add to possibly give it a lil more horse power...while he has the head off. People were suggesting headers...i was looking for some other goods too. is there anything basic that can give it a lil more "OOMPH". Well let me know with you opinions...

dont waste your money on a 95 2.2. i mean if you do a header and bolt ons like that...well that would be good enough to give a little extra power....but doing engine internals and stuff....i dont know man, you really should come to the conclusion that you are keeping the car and fully building it.

you can somewhat get money back for other bolt ons by parting the car out when you sell it, but engine internals you cant really part out and it doesnt take the value of the car up THAT much.

just somthing to think about before you waste a bunch of money on internals.

feel free to disagree.

Since you're talking about the head you could do a port and polish, oversize valves, and higher ratio rocker arms. I'd pull a good used head for that though instead of paying for a new head and ripping the valvetrain out. Changes to the cam would require pulling the block and sending it out for a regrind plus it would probably be a good idea to put new lifters in, but that is probably a little more than what you interested in right now. Madjack or OHV Notec would be two good people to hit up if you are serious about the LN2.
