How's it goin guys? I just got myself a 2000 Sunfire SE 5 speed Coupe. I used to drive a 92 Honda Accord EX-R so I'm a little new to the domestics so my question is simple. I beleive I read somewhere on here (but I can't find the topic now) that a 2.4L exhaust will fit on my 2.2L. Is this true? Because I know of 2 guys, one has a custom catback that came off a Sunfire GT and another guy has a catback from a Z24 and I was wondering if these are just simple bolts up or do the 2.2L and 2.4L have different hanger locations, pipe lengths and cat position? Any help would be great. Like the title says I hope im not reposting this topic but I did use the search tool for quite some time and didnt find anything specific on this (maybe I'm incompetent). Thanks!
I dont think so, because the 2.2 and 2.4 have exhaust manifolds on opposite ends of the engine...
i think for the most part it does fit. except for the header

alright, well I just want to know if a 2.4L catback would fit on my 2.2L...anyone else have any idea?
