Looks nice and welcome aboard! As stated, shave those side moldings and check out some Toyota tails - Would look alot better IMO. Great start all the same!

I hear all these talk about toyota tails what toyota are they from? and i do wanna get rid of the side molding how much would you think that would cost though?

You Take your side moldings off your self. They are held on by double sided tape. Just take a hair drier or a heat gun to them and peal them off. then give it a nice wax.

toyota tails come from the toyota cavalier.
side molding removal=FREE
Get rid of those hideous tails/ wheels and you'll be set!

fading is always a possibility, especially with red...... but not something you'll know really until you find out for yourself!! if you're careful enough you could prolly slowly and carefully start taking it off to see if its faded. then if it is, stick it back on there! if not, peel away! i think someone said they did this before they took their moldings off....

my 2000 cav was fine when i took the moldings off... and it was never waxed before i got it. im pretty sure you will be fine, if not then just stick em back on
Nice looking ride. I don't agree with all the side moulding hate. They don't look that bad and they perform a valid function of possibly preventing some parking lot dings.
Definately ditch those tails....you're gonna get arrested for impersonating a cop if you drive around with red and blue tails...
love the car, ditch the tails and get the 00 toyota tails. other than that it looks good
