paint the hood, lose the neons and get rid of that mesh in the front bumper.

thanks for the 2 posts but i just got the car and i'm more into how fast it goes more then looks i mean theres lots of beautiful 4 doors but i live in the coal region in pa and our roads suck bad so i don't wanna spend the money for a body kit and break it so im gunna get a stock 98 z24 bumped and sunfire side skirts and an 03 stock rear bumper
lose the neons. not much on tha dual exhaust eithr. nota bad start tho. how bout sum wheels n tires.

welcome i'm from pa to. but as for kits if u don't drive like a A$$hole the kit will last. there people around where I live 10mins from pittsburgh they have there car no more than 2" off the ground and don't have any problems. and as for what the car looks like if you like it cool keep it that way its no one elas's car. if your by pittsburgh and need some help with the car pm me.

exactly what i was thinking. the neons are alright as long as you hide the tubes better otherwise they just look ridiculous

noice, quad in a 4 door! I like it! I say drop it, lose the hubcaps, z24 front and rear bumpers and get it painted.... I'm not quite sure how I feel about the wing.... it intrigues me yet something just isn't right about it... maybe more pics? Larger and different angles?

thats my plan drop and bumpers and it was my first time with neons and didn't know where they went and i have them because my cars a 4 door not many looks at night and i don't even have a kit so i don't know i'm trying my best with what i got

gotta fake it till you make it! You couple probably find everything you need to swap over to the bumpers in a junk yard. 100bucks tops! Who cares if they are a different color, you gotta paint the hood anyway and that wing looks like its a different color as well. My car was a variety of colors for quite a while! Post pics when you get it all done! I say keep the neons (not my style but...) just rehang them after the new bumpers and make sure you cannot see the tubes, no matter what!
definitely ride it steelie style till you find some rims, check the classifieds here, stock z or ls sport rims would look good too!

neons are tight just have to hide them and will be better with new bumper and side skirts.
It's got to look ok and go fast thats what its all about.

yea ive come to realize that also and im not sure when its shuts off cuz i can hit 115 on my speedo and my buddy has an z24 5 speed and hiss tops at 105 (mines auto)
Top speed is unimportant until you get about 14.5 in the quarter. You need some suspension work to be going past the limiter (the whole suspension on the Js sucks). I'd get rid of the neons or get the bumpers you want off of newer Js and then do some fiberglassing to extend them. Does your exhaust have resonators? I'd figure that'd be loud as all get out if not. A suggestion toward power: move the battery to the trunk and then extend your intake into the fender (you'll pull in a LOT colder air).

I love having a 4 door with a 2.4 especially since I rock the modded engine with a stock ride hight. yay for 2.4 4doors!!! car looks clean, just get the Z24 bumpers and it will look great
