Has anyone ever had a smoke test done on their vehicle before, and if so how much did it run you?
well, i could tell you it cost $45, but depending on how busy they were, time of day, the weather, the tech's attitude, your attitude, who you know, the colour of your shirt etc. your mileage may vary. and then that $45 was just a price i was quoted from one shop. i called another, got a completely different quote, like $78. called someone else, it was $20+1 hour labor. but these numbers will mean nothing to you unless you go to the same shops as i do.
