idle problem

Hello i have a idle problem on my cavalier,the code is coming up thats its my o2 sensor,but both are brand new,i also replaced the map sensor i checked every where for a vacum leak and can`t find one.does any one have an idea of what this can be.it drives fine just when its idleing.but causeing my check engine light to come on.any help thanks

If it says o2 sensor then it's more than likely ur o2 sensor. I just fixed mine today, it was actually the connection that goes to the o2 sensor u might want to check it. I put a new one on and the conector was bad and made me idle funny and run REALLY rich. Hope that helps, it's worth a shot

make sure your replacing it with an AC DELCO sensor..youll have problems otherwise...only get your o2s at the dealer

Which o2 sensor is bad? Upper or lower? Just keep in mind that you have 2 of them. You might also want to consider that if you have a "high flow cat" attached to your exhaust, that will throw a code too. I wouldn't worry about that o2 sensor though, it doesn't effect your gas mileage, it just thinks there is a leak but the fact is that a massive amount of air is blowing on it so it thinks there is something wrong.

Any lucky yet? Oh and i have NO catylic converter and i throw no engine codes what so ever
