well when i was driving to school today i started to hear some kind of clicking or taping noise when i was driving. it seemed to only click when i accelerated past like 3k rpms. it also didnt click at idle at a stop. does anyone have any idea what could be going on? i do all regular maintenance (a lil over due for new spark plugs) and dont relle drive the piss outta it like i used to.

Might be a sticky valve. Take a screwdriver and put it up against the head and listen for ticking as you rev the engine.

check your oil level and condition first.
well i found out where the ticking was coming from, i used that screw driver technique that pushrods was talkin about and the ticking was coming from my fuel rail. my buddy at the shop has an S2000 and said he had the same thing happen with his car. turns out he had a clogged fuel injector and cleared it up with some seafoam. so thats probably what im gonna end up doing tomorrow.

Hope it fixes the issue and good job on the troubleshooting!
