Hello, I have a 96 2.2L basically stock and was just wondering what I can do to the exhaust. Can I get parts at like a farm and fleet or a pipe place and weld one together? How much for something like that usually at a muffler shop? Thanks for the guidance.

if you are not looking for purely performance gains then you could just buy a muffler and weld it up to your stock piping

3A is junk, go with a Magnaflow muffler or a Super Turbo muffler with a stainless tip.

magnaflow, i did that first on my 96 2.2, not bad
dynomax thrush 30 bucks at advanced and they have magnaflow there for 50 or so
