Hi all, just bought a 99 cavalier with 50k miles. it is a BASE model with only A/C and an AM/FM radio. Crank windows, no tilt etc. Should be a good car for winters here in Chicago.

I do have a quick question, on occasion it cranks but will not start. If I hold the gas pedal down about 1/2 way it starts and then runs like a top. Wondering if I may have a bad sensor (TPS or crank) or is there a common problem with the 2.2's that I should check first.
