I currently have a dark blue 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier with a 2.2l engine with a 4 speed automatic transmission, A/C,had an in dash single cd player, manual door locks and crank windows. My mother bought this car brand new from Svanda Chevrolet in Sparta Illinois. When she was in the market for a Cavi at the time, I insisted that she get a 4 speed automatic. tried to talk her into getting a Z-24, but she didn't want it. Long story short, is a 2.2l cavi with a 4 speed auto a rare car? My girlfriend currently drives the car in question, just a curiousity! I've never seen another one!

P.S. it came with a factory cd player, swapped it out for a pioneer double din with iPod interface, and Blaupunkt speakers, JL audio 12's in the trunk. DYNOMAT!!!
It's as rare as a white turkey on a turkey farm.

i have 0847503867034760 of em...thats how rare. they're the base ones, aren't they? when did they stop with the 3 spd's?
i may have jumped the gun using the word "rare"! most of the base model cavaliers with auto's I've seen were all 3 speed. the only 4 spd autos I've seen were Z-24's. again, just a curiosity. -chris
I have a base Sunfire. No options but AC and the 4 speed.

WHY must you remind me of my 3 speed auto.
As a 2200 OHV owner, I think a 4 speed would kill me! Would be really nice to have the extra gear though, i wont lie.
