Hello! I've been scrolling the .org for a little over a year now and finally decided to make an account.

I drive a 2001 Z24, black. I am in the process of dropping a newer LD9 into it. I revved the old one too high and it's knocking hard. (oops)

Once I have the motor dropped I plan all new exhaust + headers and intake. Dropping it, new wheels, possible lip kit and taking the wing off. It's already been debadged, tails are nightshaded and the headlights have been painted, the interior is in process.

I'd like to do other mods to the motor but don't know where to begin, I'm aiming for ~200hp. Any advice / comments would be heldful. Thanks

200 whp is only going to happen through forced induction. S/C or turbo it's your choice but I recommend going the supercharged route. No lag - and in my opinion - simpler to install. Good luck to you

200 all motor is VERY do-able on a 2.4.

Just look around and decide what you have money and skill for. Plan your mods deliberatly as some mods support others. Searching is your friend. Look at SpeedlineZ's 2.4 build (theres tons of others too but his is the first that comes to mind) and see what hes doing for his power adders. Though his is a very intensive build thats supposed to be well over 200 whp.

I wouldn't mind going the turbo route, though I would rather keep it n/a. Like I said in my original post I've been scrolling the .org for over a year now, I have plenty of ideas in mind, it's just a matter of time, patience and money. All that on top of the fact I'll be leaving for Afghanistan in Sept.

Once I'm back she'll be in for a huge over-haul.
