I bought a cat back exhaust from ebay. I have never purchased a cat back system before. I opened the exhaust last night and there is no flange to bolt the system to the cat. Is there supposed to a flange? When I got it there was a hole in the box and part of the pipe that would have the flange on it was sticking out of the hole a little. So im wondering if it fall out during shippment of something. If they dont send me a new flange, does anyone have suggestions on where I could possibly get one. I dont have decent jacks or anything but I do have ramps. A mechanic that I work with said that if it wasnt too difficult he would charge me $70 to install the cat back system. Is that a good deal or a rip off? Could I install this system my self with the ramps and sockets that I have? Thanks.
