I'm new here. I tried to search for the answer but couldn't find it. I have a 96 Cavalier with no motor or computer. Its going to be a dirt track oval racecar. It was a 2.2 5spd car the trans is still in the car. Will the 2.4 bolt to the 2.2 5spd? Thanks kevin
No bell housing is different. unless u wanna get into making a custom transition plate.
Will the 2.4 bell housing bolt to the 2.2 5spd? Will the 2.4 5spd housing be hard to find in a junkyard?
Is the quad 4 a different bell housing to. Just really don't want the under powered 2.2
umm i belive the Q4 bell housing should work but im not a great expert but thats my thought
the bellhousing is integral to the transmission case. for the swap you'd need the engine, trans, bay harness and computer at least.
