so i just got back from the track tonight...and it was a good one
ill start off by saying i have an 05 1sv 5 speed cavalier. (with an ecotec, of course.)
my (performance) mods consist of: an intake, rksport 4:2:1 header, magnaflow high flow cat, borla cat back exhaust, and motor mounts (both upper and lower).
tonight my best time was (drum roll pleeeease
):

60' ... 2.122
330 ... 6.184
1/8 ... 9.577
MPH ... 72.49
1000 ... 12.411
1/4 ... 14.953
MPH ... 90.81
i ran another 14.9 tonight, and cut a 2.0 60'.....and the rest of my times are in my registry.
oh also, this was with a pretty much full interior. all that was removed was my spare and jack, and my back seat(not actually for weight reduction, but out of laziness from the last time i went to the track..since it weighs so little anyway)
soo to sum it up, it was a very productive night. and i'm very happy with the results.
Awesome, too bad I couldn't make it. Still in the middle of a trans install,
that stinks, good luck with it. i think we'll be going back next friday as well (me, rich, and jay..and hopefully some others)

it was real good night to run tho, i was up at cecil county and it was colddddd w/ low humidity....im shure that helped ya out a little
the weather may have helped, but i had it comming. i ran a 15.0 (once) without the header and motor mounts. i'm sure i can do better but i did two runs, then didn't run for maybe 2 and a half hours because i had to wait for my boyfriend to bring me a new battery (long story....) then did 3 more real quick runs, it was the end of the night and they were just rushing us through so it was a little crazy. i'm hoping to go again this friday, and i think i can squeeze a 14.8 out of it.

Oh yeah, I wonder what ViperRedZed has to say about a 2.0 second 60' in a mostly stock eco now? What did Mandy run again? Oh, a 2.09 on STOCK base-model tires? I am literally in fear of this car once it has DR's and nitrous.... I better start building the next car now!!!

We are making plans to come out East. Huh, I've got my old tires she could use
their good for a tenth or two. Its lookin like Thanksgiving Weekend as long as the weather holds out.
