updated track times, not so good

well went to the track tonight, havent been since i installed the meth injection and the 2.6 pulley and the 50 shot and my times are horrible for some reason. Before the rebuild i ran a 13.90@103 and tonight it was all i could do to trap 100mph. Next week im supposed to get my ecu tuned so if that doesnt wake up the car to 13's then i have no idea what would be next because options are running out.

Temp: 59 degrees

RT - .219
60' - 2.162
330 - 5.990
1/8 - 9.086
MPH - 79.08
1000 - 11.760
1/4 - 41.003
MPH - 101.16

RT - ..064
60' - 2.21
330 - 6.103
1/8 - 9.261
MPH - 77.50
1000 - 11.989
1/4 - 14.272
MPH - 100.11}

i know on the second one i was spinning some but the car on the street feels alot quicker on the butt dyno since the pulley and meth injection but for some reason the track times as very poor. I also ran the car one time no nitrous and trapped a 14.8@98 somehow with a 2.1 60', anyone else puzzled on why this car is performing so poorly with these mods?

I have yet to track 100mph yet. You did those with nitrious on? ouch. Without was 14.8.. double ouch. This is y i wouldn't drop the compression when building a motor. Which is prolly y you ran slower. Taking away compression is like taking away power. Nice 60's tho.

yeah Jasmin and I concluded that with lower Compression to 8.9 him and I would have to run 2-3 psi more to get back where we were...

i know about the compression issue guys but like i said, with the 35 shot and the stock pulley and the rebuild i ran a 13.901@103.5mph. look below.

13.901@103.5mph

- rebuild
- stock pulley
- 35 shot

14.003@101.1

- rebuild
- 2.6 pulley
- meth injection
- 50 shot

this just doesnt make sense guys, you think its pulling timing somehow? like i said if all goes well i will be going to get my car tuned in new york next week so if so im sure the hpt logs will show whats goin on.

well today i took out my plugs, look brand new so guessing im running lean haha and talked to some locals and they said sounds like the cars timing has advanced so much with the hotter plugs that im actually losing power so i have a step colder ngk's on the way this afternoon that im gonna swap in and see if that helps me out.

Maybe your tranny is slightly slipping due to making more power after the rebuild.
