This sunday a couple of my buddies are gonna come with auto crossing at a SCCA event, were trying to figure out what class they would be in...
05 Audi S4 V8 - stock
07 VW GTi 2.0T - intake
07 VW GTi 2.0T - intake, chip (chip raises boost level)
WRX - intake, exhaust, suspension, no cats, higher boost
Lets see, the audi is in A Stock. One races localy around here and thats his class. As for the others, the intaked GTI could go in STS so long as its an open diff, otherwise STX. The other 2 go right to Street Mod. Tell the guy with the WRX to put cats back on and run STX, his car will be quite a bit more competitive localy that way. He MIGHT have to go back to stock boost also, but thats not too hard.
Good link for stock class cars is
RIGHT HERE.

The GTi with intake and chip can run in DSP (they changed the boost rule in SP last year). The WRX may fall into ESP depending on how the boost was raised, otherwise it would be SM as Cavfan1 mentioned
CACC BC Region - DSP

Oh yea, forgot about that boost allowance in SP now. Normaly around here the competition is in SM anyways, nobody runs the SP classes even if they could. Way more fun when you have people to compete against instead of just getting handed a trophy.

well none of them ended up geting up early enough to go (typical) and the dude with the S4 traded it in for a brand new Evo IX MR, he only had 40 miles on it so he said he wasn't gonna break it in auto crossing hahah
are the MR's classed the same as the other EVO models?
