To run Hoosier 8X26.5X15 or AR 500 (same size) on a 15X8 rim, what backspace/offset would I need for a cavalier? Will I have clearance issues? I have looked at so many references my head is spinning. I figured y'all would have some first hand experience. We picked up some tires at a ridiculous price. None have more that 2 races on them. Most have only 1. Also, did we maybe buy tires too big to run on the cavalier? This on an oval dirt track car. Thanks guys.
Off hand i believe 8 in wide rims wont fit.
not with stock offset.
I would be looking into a grand am a arm to space ur wheel hubs oit half an inch each. That will buy you somespace. That and a negative camber you should be fine one the rims.
Now ur tires im not sure. Will they bubble out past the 8 in rims? If so. Maybe a space to grain extra clearance.
they make nice ones that bolt on hand have tgeir own bolts. They come in large diamiters to. Past 1 in spacer
Actually the tires and rims fit great. Keep in mind the fenders are pushed in a little bit from racing encounters..
