Well today after helping a buddy with his house, I go to my car to find my sunroof smashed. Car was parked on a busy road in broad daylight. I called my insurance company and they tell me that my glass sunroof is not covered by their glass policy . So now I am on the hook for either my deductible or the actual cost if it is lower. Has anyone had to have this done before? How much did it end up costing you?

i know its not cheap. i know that from GM its more than a couple hundred dollars. if you want theres a guy on another forum i frequent often that wants 100 bucks for a Whole sunroof assembly tho.

Where you located? I got a couple full sunroof assemblies.

Just go to a wrecking yard and pickup another glass. Can't be over $50.

Thanks for the offers on the assemblies. I ended up dropping the car off at the insurance co and letting them deal with it. I've been extremely sick all week and haven't had the energy to mess with it. It ended up costing me $210.78.
