tonight i went out in the sunfire to run my boy in his gm stage 2 ion redline and holy cow that things quick, he walked me like i was sitting still even from a dig by about 6 cars or so. he said with gm stage 2 he should be running 13.30's but i was really suprised how he beat me so easily. i got 2.6 pulley and 55 shot nozzle on the way this week so hopefully i can prevail lol

What other mods does ur buddy have besides the stage 2?
I walked a stock ss.. well 3rd gear I was pulling a little then 4th I walked away...
a stage 2 should beat me as well but not by much

hes got 2.5" catback, intake and mounts, runs 13.20's so thats pretty mean for 1 mod lol

well, I know I'm impressed that a moderately tuned LS1 can whoop a very mildly tuned cobalt ss....way to swing for the fence there bud!
Stock SS's didn't impress me a whole lot, but that was just in 1st gear and maybe a little of second, didn't get a chance to really wind it out. This stage II upgrade sounds promising though

what the @!#$ is a 55 shot nozzle????? never knew your shot was determined by your "nozzle" (its called a fogger by the way, and its the jets you put into the fogger that determine your shot, so i call bull@!#$ on your whole story and your whole car, if you have nitrous you would know this you liar)
