Sorr, but I think your car is beautiful, just never understood the crap with widening rims, and stretching tires. It looks dumb, it hurts performance(what good is a wider rim without any extra contact to the ground?) and can potentially be dangerous if taken to an extreme... it is one car modding trend I will never understand and will always hate

Love the car, never been much of a VW fan, but I can't get enough of this one!! Plus, air is a must in my book, makes any car look 10x better!
I wouldn't say I was owned. IT IS a fad with the VW guys, and I do think it is dumb as hell. So I was wrong about his car in particular? woohoo "pwnt" .
ANYWAY, looking at the second pic, and the pic of the tire spinning, it looks like the bead is stretched way away from the tread.

Wow, none of the custom VWs in my area ever look that good.
I drive a VW a right now(1.9 Diesel FTW !). I will NEVER go near the Vortex forums though, It makes this place look tame.
