Some updates on my DD.
New wheels, tires, springs, Big brakes, Stainless brake lines, SC pulley, intake, engine mounts, HID projector headlights, JCW grill, M7 Extreme scoop, few front end parts painted to match.
1.6L SOHC 16 valve, M45 supercharged / intercooled @ 16psi making 195whp. Its a 1.6 what do you expect.
In between one of these or a GTI for my next ride.

and in honesty even with those mods i would in no way say it hauls ass, we have zippy little cars but i do miss the torgue sometimes

My family just got rid of thiers in the fall. No question they are fun little cars.
I suggest you check outy your strutt towers. The mushrooming is a real serious issue. Even if they are still straight, at least get the M7 strutt tower plates. There is also a heavy duty front shock mount available somehere.
One decent hit and your strutt towers will be toast without some prevention..
Everytime I look at this car it makes me want to get a Cooper S. love the car and the wheels, looks like a great combo
