cool, but now the lights stick out like crazy
Wow I seriously like your Jeep. Awesome color and the wheels look perfect.
Just not a fan of the Johnny5 headlights though.
hehe Johnny5. I'll agree the headlights are pretty ugly, but they're one of those function before form deals. They're real bi-xenons, and work 100x better than the crappy headlights that came with our Jeeps. Here's a link to them (some night shots too)

did you coat the grill or is it an entire new one? If its painted or coated what did you use?
- I took the chrome grille and cleaned it
- scuffed it
- cleaned it again
- gave it 2 coats of black primer
- 2 coats flat black paint (24hours apart)
- 1 coat clearcoat

oh and the primer, paint and clearcoat were just your regular dupli-color rattle can stuff from the autoparts store.

damn I was hoping you figured out something different. I did the same on my front chrome H emblem and it rock chips way to easily.
I'm worried about that too.
Thankfully Jeep parts are cheap, so I can pick-up a new grille (in black) if this one goes to heck..
