Crying over being caught street racing with stolen engines in their cars. They are probably more upset about being caught than loosing ill gotten goods.

sooo....they couldn't say, oh I don't know...DONATE these spotless cars to a needy family who claims they have no job due to poor unreliable transportation?
The whole thing seems stupid to me.
Brian
the whole street racing thing seems stupid to them.
Their cars wouldn't be small cubes if they would have went to the track
I am just going to guess that these cars have a lot of modifications that make them illegal to drive on public roads in Ca. and as a result would be to costly to "donate". Also there is a huge liability issue, especially in the current sue happy society we live in.

the radiator removal looks like something out of transformers.
Rememeber kids... spell check is your friend
Just for the fun factor, I have to say that this is every J-Body owners' dream. :cough:
In reality, it does suck but as mitdr said, those cars were not street legal. I'd love to see such street racing crackdowns take place here.
Not one part of it disturbs me, I was quite humored.
land of the free.
Familiar Taste of Poison.
welcome to the republic nazifornia
Good.
Anybody dumb enough not to take it to the track should have this happen....
I have very little pity for street racers, as nearly lost a buddy caught in a street race..... flipped his Cav FOUR times....if they got him on the driver's side, he would not be here today...
Dumbass blew right threw a red light too, during the the day no less....

For me, it was uneasy to watch.

I'll never live in California...
Also.... define street legal LOL.... Im sure my car isnt street legal in California....
The issue I have with this is that they better make damn sure these people are really street racers...... getting caught racing once from stoplight to stoplight at 2am just screwing around does not justify this...
I do have to say that the guy operating that machine is pretty good at it...... although he prob does it all the time..
They dont crush every car they impound from street racing. They crush the ones that have stolen engines in them. Its to help make a point that if you use stolen parts and get caught you are going to have your car crushed.
Cant really tell from the video but I am guessing that those cars are no where near legal in Ca. due to many factors.
