a little bit about the car
it has a VVT 2.2 engine with 155 hp
5 speed, no options what so ever (not even power locks or windows)

i dont think the 2.2 ecos are vvt...

A place to post photos, videos, and other media, of j-bodies new and old. 'Photoshopped' photos, and requests for changes should go in the Image Manipulation forum, however.

"The LAP is a 2.2 L—2,189 cc (133.6 cu in)—version of the Ecotec, based on the Gen II block. Bore and stroke are 86 mm (3.4 in) and 94.6 mm (3.72 in), the same as the 2.2 L L61. Compression ratio is 10.0:1. Major features that set it apart from the 2.2 L L61 are variable-valve-timing and other cylinder head improvements from the 2.4 L LE5."

that happened to my neighbor with his 97 toyota tacoma .

he started it up and it had been left in first gear with no parking brake set......
i was parked in front of him, luckly it was my 82 lifted chevy, he scuffed my homemade front bumper/brushguard.
i had used rustoleum black pimer to paint it so no biggie, lol.

his tacoma was hurt tho, bumper, hood, grill, headlight, radiator all had damage.

kinda felt bad for him, it was a wal-mart speacial bull dog remote start with alarm unit that he installed him self.

btw, i really like the car!

Nice car. That something I need as a family car right now.

And as for the statements of move it to the other cars thread....I agree BUT if its a GM CAR then it fine. We need to stick together as GM cars.]:->

GMR has got nothing on this

I like the Cobalt sedans. Very FUNctional

Enjoy! By the way, all 2-door exhausts also fit the four-door. Same wheelbase and floorpan as coupe.

Hope the seats are more comfortable than in the one I rented last Spring, had to stop at every rest stop on the way down to Tenn. because it was like sitting on a wooden bench. They get amazing gas mileage though, we averaged 37mpg even though my wife was doing 80+mph thru Tenn & Kentucky.

i don't get it why you moved it? the car has the same engine as a cav or fire. the car was a continuation of j-body family.
