Thanks, May have the Vents re-podercoated Gunmetal after the wrap, not sure yet.
Not a huge fan of the direction you went with it, but it does look good.
Would of looked better IMO with a "track car" look, since after all thats what they do best.....ie. smaller rims, beefier tires
rims are sex! ditch the red on the vents! the red seems almost like burgandy?

So are you getting the whole car wrapped in flat pewter? That would bewierd since I just had my car paint flat pewter...
Lookin good though. I like everything but the red vents. I think they'll look good once they're color changed though.
I loved the second set of rims you had.
Yea id say ditch the color on the hood. Wheels are sick man. Tie that rim color into the engine bay and your good to go.

the 'wrap' sounds extremely lame to me. something about covering up paint with a decal to get a different color... i like that color though.
love the new rims, however... 5 spokes would have looked much better, IMO.
looks like a miata in the picture next to the cavalier.
i loved what you did with the cavalier, however i cannot get into this cars look
get a hardtop, so its not as chick car ish....
i am gone from this forum
That guy is part of my inspire, why I ran 19s
Also his rims there are 19" SP1s (Same thing I ad in 17s)
Its coming along. I have been working late all week so I havent started on the wrap yet.
Darkened wrote:great work buddeh I have always loved these cars. here are my 4 favorite pics of one in particular I LOVE this colour and the stance of it

My first post was from my iPod, and I didn't see at the top where you said flat gunmetal. I got mine painted just that color a few months ago. Get out of my head man! haha
Anyway, its an awesome color, and I am def happy with it...
Not Flat, but Matte... close but will make a difference
Nice though!
Beautiful black paint, or a matte wrap.... Definitely disagree with your choice there. Wheels I can dig, the hood vents look cheesy as hell with the red though.
It kills me to see a car that is supposed to hand so well, dropped, with stretched tires and all that trendy garbage(like the baby @!#$ green one posted), or gigantic wheels like yours and his. BUT, if it never get's tracked, might as well make it look to your taste.

I don't understand why there's so much negativity about the body wrap. The wrap will protect the actual paint of the car and give a custom color without wrecking a perfectly good paint job, and can be removed if you grow tired of it.
I get negative comments from those who are uneducated. They don't know any better. I myself worked in a Wrap/tint shop for 3+ years and know a little better. There is a reason the material alone was right at $800, and its not because its cheap. It has its many benefits, however I would like to see the list of negatives....
As for not getting tracked, Heartland Park, every 3rd weekend, so fail on that attempt at an insult.
That Mercedes is pure bad ass.
1. Never said wraps are crappy, I just said the shiny black looks better IMO.
2. What I said about how those cars are modded was not an insult, it was my personal opinion. If you track it competitively, you would have gone with different wheels/tires. It is clear that IF you track it like you say you do, then you are doing it for fun with those wheels/tires that do nothing but hurt your times... Never was I insulting you. Yet again you show how whiny and immature you get when people say something other than "omg I love it". God how did someone with no @!#$ balls or ability to take what people say get into our military?

Yea I track on my daily driven Summer tires and rims....Ever heard of Track wheels/tires? Better compounds dumbass... Hows that for mature. Now please STFU and stay out of my thread's. You come in EVERY SIMGLE ONE and WHINE about how I reply to you.
Actually yes. I am quite familiar with racing and putting on different tires and wheels and adjusting suspension and pressures. Quite familiar.... But anyway carry on.
