Why not, a Q4 has already been put into a Storm.

I've thought about that, it would be a cool sleeper. Just look into emmisions in your state before you do anything if it will be a pain in the ass.

love the idea of a novel swap, but lack of suspension support is going to make your life difficult. a 300hp geo metro NEEDS a suspension upgrade or its going to be useless on the street

He is on the Q4 forum. It might not have been a "storm" but it was the Isuzu counterpart. From what I recall he had it running.

That car looks and sounds like complete @!#$. I say put it in a cavalier. Cheaper, easier, cavalier looks better, and most people dont expect a j to be fast so its still sleeper.

disagree... metro is lighter weight than a cavalier and comes with independent rear suspension.

sounds like one hell of a road course car. (can't say i haven't had similar thoughts for an autox project)

p.s. ssgti.net has suspension upgrades for the suzuki swift/geo metro.

Maybe, but let me know when this is actually completed. Then we'll further discuss.

only if you mount it in the middle and convert to RWD. ala Ford SHOgun style.

(bolt the jbody subframe and suspension into the rear of the metro)

i've had this idea for years but I'm only one man.. I say DO IT.

I think a Metro with an eco could be bad ass. Not in a you're gonna get laid (except in the fact that every woman on the planet would think you were hung like a horse) kinda way, though.
