I held on to one of my 80s cars, but there are so many others I would like to have had/have. I am keeping it to FWD

ok, I did try and keep it to FWD, but a Ferrari 512 BB or Lamborghini Countach would not hurt either or an 88 BMW M5

well, since it is our fantasy list, my list assumes the cars are new and not blown up...can I include a what if?
My 'What if:'
There was a reference and pic in Car and Driver around 1987 of a factory one off Sunbird GT 2 door that had 180HP via a water cooled and bigger turbo. Oddly, about 2 year later, I saw a classified ad somewhere (magaine or paper- can't recall) of someone selling such a vehicle. I did not call the ad so I don't know if it was the same car or not. So, slap that into an '85 turbo S/E hatch.
Aftert that, in no particular order
87 Firenza V-6 hatch in stealth mode- not the GT. A standard hatch w/ the FE3 suspension and the V-6.
84 Plymouth Laser (the twin of the 1st Daytonas- not the 1990s Eclipse/Talon/Laser
Dodge GLHS
87 GNX (or two)
86 Mustang GT- hatch and vert.
85 Cutlass 442 w/ the lightning rod shifter setup.
newt, the syclone/typhoon weren't in the 80's but I'll agree with you 100% on that choice.
A not to distant future purchase....
Plan on buying one by the end of next year

Really? I could of swore they where late '80's
In that case I want a time machine to bring me back to the '80's so I could then travel into the '90's, get the Cyclone and Typhoon and bring them back to the '80's with me, then travel back to right now so I can have them as an '80's model.
It's a few extra steps but totally worth it.
Yeah, I was gonna post GMC Syclone, but I checked it it came out in 91. Otherwise it would be the top of my list as well. I went to school with a kid with one and it was awesome.

FWD, F those things. This is a fantasy list, who the heck fantasies about fwd cars. I mean thats like fantasizing about having sex with fat chicks.
Anyways, all cars have manuals, auto's are for women and the disabled.

If you can see a trend theres a, "stock engine's? F those things" mentality. I mean this was the 80's not exactly the prime of engines. Any any swap I mention has been done before.
