well i traded off my 00 rs2.5 for a 02 wrx wagon with a spun rod bearing. well after 3 months later(weekends only), a engine swap into a 95 s10 blazer, and trial and error of head gaskets and bad motors. i have it up and running. i went from knowing nothing of a subaru to building a hybrid swap into my car. i will be getting i street tuned on sunday also,

a list of the parts and mods.

ej22t closed deck block w/ stock internals
ej22t factory thickness head gasket.
wrx ej205 heads factory.
arp head studs
gutted factory up-pipe
3" tbe exhaust
helix bell mouthe dp
god speed coilover struts
18" excel (Tabs old wheels.)
body has approx 170k

For the record I bought those rims brand new from WheelMax (Exel RS-GT's) and my car had them on it @ the 2004 bash. I wanted them after seeing Derek Fetter's Sunfire with them and had originally purchased them for my '96 Z24 I had bought from Brandon Fetter. Over that winter though I sold it and purchased my '01.

Had many experiences that one year with them.

-friend backing my car out of driveway when I wasn't around for the J-BOM BBQ and putting a deep 2" curb into the lip of one, pissed at him
-hungover as hell driving home from the bash, sleep deprived, lightly curbing one at a toll booth and being pissed at myself
-having an acorn/hex style lug nut split and chiseling the @!#$ of it, & surrounding rim, also being pissed at lug nut

Then came time to sell them.

Its a boxter style engine with top mount intercooler, if im not mistaken. i dont know alot about scoobys either

Thanks for the compliments guys. Also thought ir was neat to see the purchase order of the wheels. For them I plan on trying one other color before I decide if I will be keeping them black or not.

Also had my turbo take. Pool on me. The exhaust turbine end up sheering off. So it dumped.a.ton of oil and antifreeze out the xhaust. Good part I was able.to pick another turbo up in columbus at 1am in the morning and get it installed so.I can get it tuned today. And again thanks guys.

unfortantly this thing is back down again. looks like when the turbo went out it took out the engine too. sucks but if i can get my supercharger sold off, then i will line up another motor.
