hpt and 2.4l supercharger reflash

How can I put the reflash into a stock 2000 Z24 manual trans? I have a registered reflash file for my 2002 Z24 manual and I am going to register the 2000 Z24. Can I just write entire the reflash and then change the vin back to the stock vin?
