I need a tune for my 2004 eco. I have intake, muffler, high flow cat, The reason I want the tune is for a 2.4 eco intake manifold. I need some more fuel going to it. I will pay labor and whatever else. Willing to drive within state of WI and eastern MN. Thanks if anyone can!
There's a little bit more to a tune than just throwing some numbers in on the laptop and calling it a day.
You're gonna need a dyno.
Or CobaltSS.net There are a lot of people on there willing to tell you they tuned your car for 200 bucks.

You'll need higher flowing injectors and a wideband at the very least. You're going to max out the stock injectors when you start tuinng a reasonable AFR; I've seen and have logs that prove so. Go with at least 30lb/hr injectors...
Actually with the listed mods. I would say that a tune probably isn't necessary, much less bigger injectors.

once he adds the LE5 intake, the stock injectors no longer flow enough. One could argue based on IDC's over 80% in stock trim that the stock injectors are not enough for a stock engine. I agree it's pointless to get one OR the other (tune OR injectors); you'll need both and some tuning time to get it running like a champ
would it even be possible for my car to run correctly with the gm s/c reflash and the mods i listed and the LE5 intake or am I just crossing the line, when it comes to tuning I want to learn but it all confuses me.

I wouldn't run the reflash - its not editable, and you won't break 1BAR on the MAP anyway. If you get the LE5 manifold, you can install it without tuning - it will run fine and you will likely not hurt anything, but if you want to take advantage of the new top end breathing ability, you'll need at least 30lb/hr injectors and HPT. Without them your stuck with the stock redline at 6500 and PE engagement that occurs after 6200rpm. Without tuning the car will adapt to achieve a 14.6:1 AFR upto 6200rpm (not ideal for power), and after that your guess is as good as mine. In my case, the car was running very in PE mode, which is also not ideal for power
ok, thanks for all the help, I was acutally really worried about my car running to lean if I didn't get a tune right away but now I know, I will eventually get a tune within a few months of the intake install though.
