I am about to get started on my new code for boost, and I was wondering.
besides AFR and ve tables is there any thing eles that needs addressing.
I mean I know that the car is going to run different so there will need to be some fine tuning, but for the intial start and drive, should I bee good?

You really want to address timing also if your MS can do that. Proper fuel is worthless with too much spark.

Knock is your enemy. Figure out if you can somehow wire the knock sensor into one of the extra input channels on the MS if you've disabled your stock ECU to the point of it being useless within the OBD system. You should make it a priority to be able to log knock relative to boost and rpms so you can see where to cut timing.

righhht. so the millon other jbodys on here that are running realityly low boost and still going strong are just flukes right? so any way does anyone know any differce in code?

I have been looking into a knock retard solution for a while with out much luck. I have however rigged up a system using my multi-step retard box to pull timing on a 12v input. I'm still trying to find a way to convert the knock output into a timed 12v. The timing pull will be rather blind but I will put a warning light in my dash for when it is kicked in.

Couldn't you just do it with a dis and a dyno? and just make a static timing vs. RPM retard curve. Not the coolest but it would keep your motor from detonation.
I could but it would feel like a waste to have such a great tuning tool and not use it.
