I need some help with tunning my MS-2. I am running a GM s/c with 10lbs of boost. Anyone have some tables I might be able to use for my setup. If anyone needs more info let me know.
tuning with MT is possibly one of the easiest things to do if you know basic concepts of tuning..
start with the tuning page on megasquirt.info...it tells you anything and everything you need to know about MS
I was looking for some tables. For a basic tune and then tune my car from there. Also how did you setup your tables to show boost? My tables will only go to 100kpa.
I know there are a few of you running MS-2. I would like to see what you guys did for tables on a boosted application.
just PM some people on the successfully MSed page, and let us know what they come up with, might be a good time... anything 4-cylinder really and they will be able to help you out.
HP Tuners | Garrett T3/T04B | 2.5" Charge Pipes | 2.5" Downpipe | 650 Injectors | HO Manifold | Addco front/rear | Motor Mounts | HKS SSQV | Spec stage 3 | AEM UEGO Wideband | Team Green LSD | FMIC | 2.3 cams | 2.3 oil pump swap | 280WHP | Now ECOTECED
To tune for boost uou might have to update the config file to make sure it's set for the right map sensor. After that just go into the fuel table and change the numbers in the column to be what ever you want. I don't have any tables that will help you, and honeslty there are so many things that play into VE that it's going to be hard to find somethign that is useable.
How I get my cars running is to first get it to idle nice. From there I guess
actually by looking at the idle ve I can sort of estimate the rest of the table. I make sure to over guess so that I run rich. From there I take it out and datalog or if I can I get someone to drive while I tune it in realtime.
There are also a few little apps to help you out, I forget what they are called but one was really easy to use and would actually regenerate your table for you. I could get me entire map tuned in about 2 hours using it.
Thanks for the info. I can not get the car to idle right and it does not always want to start. I do have an ICM off of a pre94 2.3L.
