I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAD THEIRS TINTITED AND IF THEY HAD PICS OF THEM IM PLANNING TO TINT MINE LIKE A BLUE TINT LIKE THE BMW'S AND IF THEY DID TINT THEM IS THEIR BUBLES ON THE PASSENGER MIRRIOR BECAUSE OF THE LETTERS THANKS
Mine are tinted yellow, no pics but I will get some
BMW's don't have it tinted per say. They change color depending on the light hitting them. They change a blueish color to help keep down glare, just like auto dimming rear view mirrors. But that is a good idea, do you know if / think it would keep down glare at night and stuff???
I would guess that the letters would have small air pockets behind them as the film will not be able to form a bond directly to the mirror itself. Probably nothing one would be able to notice.

that never happened on mine, mine have yellow tint plus 35% black tint on top of them, they look good
why would you tint your side mirrors? people tint their windows for 1 of 2 reason: less light, and so people can't see in your car. i don't see the point of tinting your mirrors. yeah, i've had trucks come up behind me and the light was right in my eyes, but i just moved the mirrors slightly and it was fine. then once the truck was away, i just moved the mirrors back.
mine have a baby blue tint but they came that way
i just like the way that they look thats all
^^ it would be intresting to see. Im sure it wont be that hard, just wash it down nice and get a heat gun. Intresting idea though
dan
yea its was interesting now watch everyone wants to tint their side mirrors j/k
i have mine done in green...I really like the look of it. I tinted it myself and there is no bubbles or anything, I think it looks really good. Makes it hard to see at night tho....

My friend has his done in red. I'll try getting a pic from him.
I might be missing something, but if u used tint on the outside mirrors won't it eventually come off if rain or snow etc gets between the tint and the mirror?

i honestly dont think so it all depends on whta kind of a job u do u can either make it crappy so it will fall and off and bubble up or make it it perfect
some one post a pic of the passenger side mirror
