how much would someplace charge you to shave the door handles and locks

depends on the shop's rates and the quality of their work. go to a few shops, get some price quotes directly from them, ask to see some of their work that's been out of the shop for some time and see how good they are.

I'm getting both locks shaved on my doors and the P/S 1/4 panel redone for a total of 500. These guys are good, quality painters and they are giving me a deal because I do business with them, so I would say you'll pay around 400-500 for that job in a good, reputable shop. I'm no expert, but I'd say that's a darn good ballpark figure. Wish I could shave my handles but it won't pass VA state inspection like that.

Let us know how much it costs you so we can have an idea next time. And take pics!

Good Luck,

Steve
