ok all, I have been trying to get my wiper arms off to paint, and I cannot get them to budge at all, I have a 01 cavy sedan, I removed the caps, remove the 13mm bolt, tried pulling, not coming off, bought a battery terminal puller, still not budging, are they that tough to get off, or am I missing a clip or something somewhere?

first of all its prolly your cars way of asking to you to please don't paint the wipers.....
second... yes they will come off
unless your painting them black
Your suppose to bend it up, then jiggle it side to side and then pull up at the same time.....
PS dont try to pry it with a screw driver.. it will slip.. and you will crack your winshield... Joke Nific did it that way on my old Cavalier.. and broke the winshield.....
Yeah, I gotta do that all the time at my work to buff vehicles. They can get pretty tricky sometimes, just flip the arm up and keep jiggeling it back and forth and it should come off eventually.

pull up on the wiper....push down on the joint where the spring is and wiggle while pulling off towards you
it'll come off

ok lets see how many peopel are gonan chime in and same the same advise as whats been posted 3 times already.... I'll check back after work
just don't be a nancy and pull it off while wiggling it..its not brian science...if it really wont come off, go get/buy/borrow a battery terminal puller..they work well i hear..

Try spraying a LITTLE WD-40 on the stud and let it set a few mins. then tap LIGHTLY with a SMALL hammer on the edges of the wiper arm then push DOWN (towards the windshield) on the wiper arm then pull and wiggle , they should come off with a little effort...
