Hey just wondering if anyone else has ever had a problem
with winks on getting stuff. Im not the type of guy to be a
A%$ hole and come on here and bash a company but
i orderd a carbon fiber trunk from them on feb 23, its
now april 8 and i still have not recieved it. i sent multiple
emails to the company never recieved a replay. plus
the number that is on the bill is not working, from what
i hear on the org its a creditable company so i hope this is just
a mix up but this seems to be the only way to get a replay,
again im not doing this to bash anyone.

You should of done a search first. There have been multiple problems with people not getting there stuff and long wait times. Do a search for "winks online is shady" that will tell you a little bit. I would of personally bought from somebody else.
From my experience Winks seems to say one thing and do another, the gp for the hinges took ages to play out, and now that one of my struts is blown, its taking much more effort that I should have to put in to get it replaced etc. In all honesty, I would probably go elsewhere in the future and hopefully save a headache.
On his side, he does deliver, just takes a while sometimes.
he use to be good until that lambo gp and it all went down hill. i wanted to order a wing through him recently but decided not to because of all the problems he's been having

trunk soon or he atleast FINALLY gets intouch with me.

One lesson that I learned the first time I tried to start my business was to NEVER sell anything unless its in stock or on its way.
Its easy when you are getting started to take all kinds of orders with the hope that everything will come together and you'll be able to take care of the people who have prepaid.
Unfortunately, it never works that way. You get material shortages or your suppliers go out of business and leave you hanging, etc.
I have been in Winks' position and hope that he is just having the above issues and not screwing anyone. Give him the benefit of the doubt is what I'm saying. He is probably just as freaked as you are!

LOL do i have mail! LOL i bet not but it would be cool if my lambo hinges that i paid 1000.00 for worked or if i even got the strut i asked for and you said you would get to me. LOL what am i thinking!

I had problems with winks but its all good now even tho the product (shave filler door handles) was in terrible shape, the edges weren't even smooth blah blah and it took a thread like this to get his attention which to me is unfortunate....... so good luck and i know your gonna get your product but probably gonna have to keep buggin him and wait a lil longer then expected.
i sent the dayton hinges back.. they reected them.. as far as im concerned I fulfilled my obligation on that deal. The good part is that this means I have like 20 brand new struts that I can redially swap out anyones bad struts with. I really dont have a good list of people so if you need them post here or email me.

PS: I will get all struts replaced this week
I need em, they stronger than the others ? Either way I would like to get 2 good ones, to replace the 1 bad I have and incase there is ever a problem with the other last minute.

not sure what your going on about, care to explain alittle bit clearer.
well the deal with mine is the hinge its self as i had shown you the pics, on aol
so i would need the hinge...and not a strut.. the strut seemed fine. but the hinge pivot bearing had popped out.
um i really feel sorry about the whole situtation... but im kinda stuck now that ive cut up my stock wires on the car..
so im not sure whats going to happen..

the original hinges that dayton imports made that were wrong, the ones that were like curved in the pictures were sent back to dayton to be fixed. They agreed to fix them in 3-4 days, so realistically they should be back to winks sometimes this week, but without those he doesnt have any hinges to give out, just the struts for the kits that are getting fixed.

when i called VDI about my strut they said you were a fraud. they wouldnt warrenty my strut because you bought it over 90 days ago LOL
so i will be suprised if you actully send me my strut but it would be nice.
