Jason doesn't make the parts, so complain about the company that makes them. either that or get ahold of Jason and work out something with him to possibly get you new fenders or some money back.
its fiberglass, just add some glass to the flange and make it fit, there isnt much that you cant do with fiberglass, its pretty forgiving

i got d1's that werent even close to fitting and im out about 200 bucks, from him too. so dont feel bad. not to mention, one of them arrived cracked, but i wasnt home and my dad signed for the shipment, so im screwed out of the money.
to boot, i cant find a shop that will do fiberglass at the moment, nobody wants to bother with it. got turned down by 3 shops.

No the missing glass aint done from shipping, the passenger fender is cracked in 2 spots from shipping. The part that is missing glass is the lip that you bolt the fender to under the hood. That whole lip is to small and doesnt even sit flat on there.

the whole thing about Jason and A+ is that there really should have been no mention of his name or company in this thread. the only complaint should have been against the company that made the fenders. like i said, if you need to get them replaced, contact Jason and work a deal out with him. fiberglass is very easy to work with, so you or a body shop shouldn't have a hard time fixing the fenders if need be. are they any chance Wayson fenders? if so, i would get a new set and neither you nor Jason should pay for that new set.

if your dad signed for the shipment without first checking over the package, then you really need to have him pay for the damages, since you didn't sign for it and check it over yourself.
again, fiberglass is easy to work with, and i can't see any reason why a body shop wouldn't be willing to work with them. sounds kind of strange to me.
cannon fodder, i would like to, but since im 21 and living under his roof for free, that would not be right to ask him in my eyes. i should be paying rent...but im very lucky in the fact that my 'rents dont ask me for it.
i agree, i havent worked with glass yet, but supposedly the real shops around here hate doing it, and only want bolt on replacemnt parts, and just spray paint it. ill find a shop, just harder than i thought it would be.

The bad thing with fiberglass or carbon fiber parts is that THERE IS NO GUARANTEE on fitment
There's just no way around it. Even Aerogear's "warranty" is a pretty crappy warranty. Unless a fiberglass part is cracked in half during shipping, we can never get a manufacturer to claim they made the part wrong.... It really sucks any way you look at it.
It's odd that you're having problems with those fenders tho.... They're made by AIT Racing, and their Z3s have had good fitment from what we've been told by others.

i have aerogear fenders on mine, fit real well, no modification done. if that is any help.
i am having my own fiberglass pains right now, putting on side skirts. they were too short so i had to lengthen them out and trim them along the top to fit the body line. just one of those things.
what is with everyone going all crazy on each other? i like coming on this site to look for advice but i do it sparingly. there is a wealth of info on here for anyone interested in J's. but i can hardly find a thread where there isn't bickering. it is a sport, guys and girls, that we all enjoy, let's be nice when trying to help each other out huh?

I went with these fenders JUST cuz they were suppose to be good fit if i wanted i could of got them from Soundspeed for ALOT less and did just as much work on them.

Unless ur mentally retarded, im 100% sure you could fix it yourself. Cracks are easy as hell to fix, my first project with fiberglass was extending my sideskirts 3" and they turned out perfect. You cant really mess up with fiberglass, if it doesnt turn out good sand it down and redo it.
