I am trying to get the stock spoiler off a sunfire, I have removed the five bolts from under the deck lid but it still wont come off. I am doing this to put it on my girlfriends Cavalier. I went to the junk yard got a 99 front and rear, 97 head lights, 2001 rear and a sunfire trunk with a spoiler all for 60$! I just cant get the damn spoiler off, there seems to be some kind or rubber between the two. also does anyone have pics of a sunfire spoiler on a cav?

Which spoiler?
The 2-door or the 4-door one?
If you got all the bolt off, then just lift up on that slut and it should come off. There is that double sided adhesive holding it on, and it can be stubborn. If you have a puddy knife or something like that, slide it under and cut if from the trunk. Or, if you don't really care if you dent the junk car that you are taking it off of, just give it hell until it come off.

it's not ghetto, it's "in progress"
I know what you are talking about.....
I got this one off a trunk that was all messed up, So I had no problem sticking a screwdriver and knife in there and getting the two apart.
Just take your time.
on a 2 door there's 7 anyways
well, at least there's 7 holes in the lid, I had to fill 7 holes...3 in the middle, 2 on each side
One of the 7 is for the wiring for 3rd brake light. 6 bolts on mine.
