I just bought this kit a few days ago from Jason at aPlusPerformance.com
I had a few problems with the instructions, 2 pictures are a little confusing as far as where to mount the ball brackets to the hood, but a quick email to a fellow JBO member and a quick reply from him I had things all situated. (Thanks bossman!

Anyways, I finally got around to installing it, and the difference is amazing. I seriously wish I bought this kit sooner. The prop rod and hood fell once, and when the rod fell it swung to the passenger side, and the hood fell on it..
Although it's small, I still have a dent about the size of a dime in my fender, which looks like crap, and the hood is slightly bent, and the paint is cracked/spider webbed.
If I bought it sooner, I could have saved my fender and hood.
Anyways, here's the link

Great service, and fast shipping.
Thanks Jason!
In the end, for $50 + Shipping, I'd put this high on the mod list, especially if you work under the hood a lot, or love going to car shows and showing off your car!
(No I was not paid for this either lol)
I know it's JUST a Cavalier, and I'm sorry if I hurt your ego.
i had mine on my 03 before i got me cf vis invader hood they were awesome.
Moms&Dads talk to your kids, before its too late, tell them to stay away from aluminum wings.
agreed. Super easy installation, smooth movement. They lift the hood up about six extra inches and seem to put a bit of pressure on the hinge stops. People have had these on for a year+ with no problems, so i'm not really concerned, but, just the fact that the hinge is now taking pressure and wasn't before makes me a bit nervous... The only problem I've had, and it is by no means a fault of the props, but the drivers side corner, up by the windshield, rubs slightly on the fender. The passenger side has about a 1/8" clearance. My damn hood is on crooked! Thanks GM!
